One of the spiritual traditions I’m following, The Art of Living is having a festival at the zoo lake on Sunday 1 November 2009, I hope I have my own car by then (heheh) so I can be there by myself and not rely on a lift.
The festival celebration includes
- A Yoga Fashion Show
- Meditations
- Drumming Workshop
- Wellness Stalls and
- Loads of Entertainment
The Part One course was one of the first newagey things I did in my hometown of Lenasia, and I’m happy to announce that the Lenz chapter are in charge of the “Nature Nook” and promote the environmental initiative of this organisation. I’ve suggested Nicholas of Roots Landscaping Design and Florian of Biosynegetics to help out with their respective talents and Deepna has asked that I put in a word about the Surya Namaskar challenge.
Surya Namaska is the Sanskrit word for “Father Sun - Big Respect“

For staunch yoga students and fitness fundis, there will be a 60 minute ‘sun salutation’ challenge as the main event (pre-registration necessary).
Send your completed form and proof of payment of R40 per entry to aolfestival@gmail.com
You will receive confirmation of your registration/s within 48 hours.
An info sheet will be sent to you once you have registered.
